We are currently looking for people to join our exciting developing business working as Membership recruits for our charity partners Sussex and Surrey Wildlife Trusts
About the Job You will be required to recruit members for either Sussex Wildlife Trust or Surrey Wildlife Trust in pre-booked and arranged venues across Sussex or Surrey. Venues include town centres, shopping centres, markets, train stations, super markets and local shows.
On arrival at your venue you will be expected to sign in and set up a branded display.
Your job will be to engage members of the public in a polite and friendly manner, explain in an informative way about what we are doing and how they can help by becoming a member.
Full training and constant support is given on what to say, with regular top up charity training.
You will be rewarded with a higher than average basic wage and commission from donor one.
Expenses for mileage, parking and evening meal when staying away are paid.
About You Hard working and reliable. Flexible (regarding working hours). Friendly and likeable. Self motivated to be able to work alone some of the time. Good knowledge about Wildlife and Conservation (handy but not essential). Live in, or have a good knowledge of Sussex or Surrey. Fundraising experience (handy but not essential). Full driving licence and have your own vehicle (this is a must). Good administration skills.

Surrey Wildlife Trust, together with its members and volunteers, work to protect wildlife across Surrey, both on their nature reserve and through their work with others.
Surrey Wildlife Trust Manages over 7000ha of land for wildlife across Surrey, including some of the Counties top nature reserves and land belonging to other individual and organisations. Teaches people of all ages to care for wildlife through both key stage education programmes for students and courses for adult learners. Campaign for Wildlife, raising awareness about issues affecting wildlife. Provides planning and other professional services to local authorities, businesses and individuals.
